One more feather in the cap for Niswarth Samajik Sanstha ! We would like to share an important update regarding the ZP School in remote area Saravali Morpada, Taluka : Dahanu, District: Palghar. Komal Singh sir informed us in April, 2023 that the school was at risk of closure due to a dwindling number of students and the demolition of the actual school building caused by ongoing railway line construction.This news was concerning, as the ZP School is the only educational institution available for children in our remote area. The prospect of it closing raised serious worries about the future of their education. However, with the dedicated support of Komal Singh sir, we initiated a midday meal program on a trial basis starting from 11th July 2023. This initiative gradually attracted more students to attend school regularly. We are pleased to announce that with the assistance of the Railway Authority, the construction of a new school building is now underway. This development ensures that the children will soon have a proper place to study.Thanks to the collective efforts of everyone involved, especially the team at Niswarth Samajik Sanstha, the ZP School has been saved, and the children in our remote area will continue to receive an education.
