COVID-19 WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT FOR THE PEOPLE LIVING IN VILLAGES WHICH ARE LOCATED IN THE INTERIORS WITH LESS ACCESSIBILITY. NISWARTH SAMAJIK SANSTHA TRIED TO DISTRIBUTE LITTLE HAPPINESS IN THESE DIFFICULT TIMES BY DISTRIBUTING DIWALI FARAL AND CLOTHES IN A VILLAGE OF PALGHAR DISTRICT.

The Fight against Corona continued grimly. Niswarth Samajik Sanstha donated N95 masks and hand sanitizers to Front Line Workers and Asha Sevika in remote areas of Satara through Jaywantrao Shelar Pratishthan.
Niswarth Samajik Sanstha donated grocery items of Rs 15,000/- for needy villagers of Kaapashi-Medipada village of Palghar District.
Rs 10,000/- donated to Mr Yadav for partial contribution towards medical treatment of his Mucormycosis.
In association with Rotary Club of Satara Hills , Niswarth Samajik Sanstha donated 2 out of the total 4 Oxygen Cylinders to Covid Centre at Koyna Nagar thru Jaywantrao Shelar of Shivsena.
1000 masks were distributed in Dahanu, Palghar schools for children as the schools had reopened in rural areas around Diwali 2020.
Ghar Ghar Diwali Project was done as always on 12 November 2020 wherein Diwali faral was distributed at Dahanu Palghar villages.
Nisarga Cyclone 12 July 2020 : Harihareshwar village lost electricity for more than 2 months because of Nisarga Cyclone… So Niswarth Samajik Sanstha donated 50 re-chargeable torch for the needy people… Mr Vasant Shetty coordinated with the Locals.
02 June 2020 : 100 PPE kits were donated for front line warriors in SION hospital to fight against CORONA.
During these difficult Corona times Niswarth Samajik Sanstha has reached interiors of Talashri and Palghar district with the help and guidance of a local school teacher `Komal Sir`. To reach the most affected, grocery kits were distributed with the help of local volunteers and teachers to the villagers which included families who had senior citizens, single women with children or disabled people and were in desperate need.
On 8 March 2020, Niswarth Samajikh Sanstha completed five years . On its fifth birthday, we launched our website in the presence of our trustees, members and our estemeed donors and their family members.
During this project Niswarth Samajik Sanstha team conducted sessions towards empowering housemaids by giving them guidance for their own self-improvement, vocational development, financial management and social skills. We also enlightened them about certain government initiatives in association with local corporators
A Blood donation camp was arranged in association with HDFC Bank Ltd. For the first time 126 people turned up for donation out of which 76 bottles were donated on one single day. This was yet another unique way that Niswarth samajik sanstha worked towards contributing and making a difference to people’s lives.
During this initiative, School notebooks were distributed to two different schools at Ghodbunder Road, Thane & Vasai.
Continuing from the success of the Initiative in Christmas, 28 cycles were provided to children for their easy and safe commuting to school and back.
Niswarth Samajik Sanstha provided garden playing equipment and activity tools oriented towards holistic development of children.The Sanstha donned the role of “Santa Claus” by providing the less fortunate children of Kapsi Vangaon with Cycles. This has supported students to travel regularly and more comfortably and safely to their schools & back. In addition to this – Santa also provided Toys to other kids.
Diwali is a special festival – and Niswarth Samajik Sanstha did its bit to spread the joy of this festival through its unique initiative of providing Clothes & Diwali Snacks (Faral) to the people of Kapsi Vangaon. Clothes, toys, bicycles & Diwali faral was distributed at Dahanu Palghar under this initiative.
Around 500 notebooks were distributed to the underprivileged children of the school.
During this project the sanstha provided 36 solar lamps to villages in Raigad where electricity and water has not yet reach constantly been an issue. We also provided stationery, clothes & toys for children.
Niswarth samajik sanstha has continued contributing towards this cause since March 2016. Initiatives include providing monthly grocery,medicines and regular medical checkups by Doctors.Our members visit this old age home regularly and spend their time taking care of all the wonderful senior ladies.
